We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team in partnership with FIIINDIT, our design, web and marketing partner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate our brand's message across various platforms. As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that engage our target audience and drive business results.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

- Design Creation: Conceptualise and create original designs for a wide range of projects, including print materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, posters), digital assets (e.g., website graphics, social media content, email templates), and marketing collateral.

 

- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design work adheres to established brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all touchpoints.

 

- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, copywriters, and project managers to understand project requirements, gather necessary information, and deliver designs that meet the specified goals and objectives. Work video editor on creating static video elements where necessary.

 

- Presentation and Feedback: Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and clients, articulating the rationale behind design decisions. Incorporate feedback and make revisions to refine the designs.

 

- Asset Management: Organise and maintain a library of design assets, including logos, images, templates, and style guides. Ensure that all files are properly labelled and archived for easy retrieval.

 

- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and communicating progress updates to team members and clients.

 

- Research and Inspiration: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging design techniques. Research to gather inspiration and insights that inform design decisions.

 

- Quality Assurance: Review final designs for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure that all designs meet high-quality standards before delivery.

 

Qualifications

 

- Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Alternatively, self learning tutorials you have followed can be shared.

 

- Experience: Minimum of 3 months of experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects is essential.

 

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as experience with web design and HTML/CSS.

 

- Creative Skills: Strong conceptual and creative thinking abilities, with a keen eye for typography, color, and composition. Ability to translate abstract ideas into visually appealing designs.

 

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

 

- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, identify design challenges, and develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.

- Work Environment: This position may require working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Flexibility in hours may be needed to accommodate project timelines.

Videographer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join the Dr. Kasenene team in partnership with FIIINDIT, our design, web and marketing partner.. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of storytelling, and the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality video content. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished videos that captivate audiences across various platforms.

 
Key Responsibilities

Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging video content for multiple formats, including social media, online platforms, advertisements, and broadcast television.

 

Storytelling: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the vision and narrative of each project. Utilise editing techniques to enhance storytelling and maintain viewer engagement.

 

Technical Proficiency: Utilise industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects) to cut, splice, and arrange footage. Apply color correction, audio editing, and visual effects as needed.

 

Creative Input: Collaborate with the video production team on creative input on video concepts, including suggestions for graphics, animations, and music that align with the project’s goals and target audience.

 

Asset Management: Organise and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring that all files are properly labelled and archived for easy retrieval. Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines.

 

Quality Control: Review final video edits for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure all content meets high-quality standards before delivery.

 

Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure a cohesive final product. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and provide updates.

 

Feedback Incorporation: Be open to discussing and understanding feedback from video directors and clients to refine and improve video content and to make revisions based on constructive criticism.

 

Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new editing techniques to continually improve skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

 

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma/certificate in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, links to industry-leading professionals or video tutorials you have been following in a self learning approach can be shared.

 

Experience: Ideally 3 months of experience in video editing or a related role. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects is essential, or a sample video as requested.

 

Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve). Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

 

Creative Skills: Strong storytelling abilities with a keen sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual composition. A good understanding of colour grading and sound design is beneficial.

 

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.

 

Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of the video meet quality standards.
